The T-Rex Rifle, built for the insanely powerful .557 cal. cartridge, is made by a company called A-Squared Rifles. It was meant to be used as a "gun of last resort." Nobody, and I mean nobody, uses both the gun and the cartridge for simple plinking. The wherefore and why is, to my mind, quite obvious. It's only reason for being is to stop a charging rhino or elephant from crushing a hapless (read foolish) game hunter. Other than that, this rounds serves absolutely no useful purpose.
